Newberry Wedding | Wedding Photography

You would never know it by the photos, but a huge storm came and went in just thirty minutes and then cleared out and gave us more blue skies.

After having shot many weddings at House Mountain Inn, I have never seen anything like the kind of weather we saw roll in and roll back out again.

I really enjoyed working with these two and capturing some beautiful images from their day.

I wish you both the best in your exciting year to come.

The Shops of 12th & Main | Advertising

As you may have seen here on the blog, we’ve been hammering out ads left and right for the past few months.

Our most recent ad is featured in the spring issue of  clutch: the girl’s guide to everything essential – we hope you had a chance to pick it up!

We created the layout as well as the ads for Gladolia Girls and Telitha. Although our deadline was tight, it came out really well!

If you couldn’t tell, we’re loving on the whole chalkboard theme – can’t get enough of vintage inspired design.

Thoughts? Comments? Musings? Let us know!

Mauresa - I love the layout! I do think that the picture Gladiola Girls chose does not do their shop justice.

The Walking Dead Engagement | Video

We shot had an exciting engagement shoot with fans of “The Walking Dead” a few weeks ago. With help from zombie volunteers,

makeup artist Ashley Ancheta and hair stylists from Sylvain Melloul International Hair Academy, we were able to pull off a fun session and a very cool video to document the day.

Stay tuned for the photograph post coming soon!

Are you a fan of the show? Tell us what you think!

Hill City House | Company Branding & Design

We had the awesome opportunity to create the branding for Lynchburg’s newest restaurant, The Hill City House.

As you can see below, we designed their logo and business cards – simple and clean. For the logo, our designer hand drew the chef’s hat. We are not ones for clip art. No thank you.

You’ll be able to find the ad we designed in the new issue of Clutch: The Girl’s Guide to Everything Essential. Pick one up today if you haven’t already.

The Hill City House is open and ready for your business! You’ll find them on 7001 Timberlake Rd., formerly Vinny’s Italian Grill & Pizzeria.

Bliss: A Fine Wedding Fair 2013 | Video and Photography

We had the opportunity a few weekends ago to attend and document with both photo and video the premier bridal event Bliss, a fine wedding fair.

For those of you who don’t know what Bliss is, it’s an all day wedding conference that offers workshops, catered food, door prizes, trendy ideas, a vendor showcase where you can meet local wedding vendors and so much more.

Brides, mothers and friends are all welcome to come. If you didn’t get a chance to attend this spring, make sure you sign up for next spring’s conference, or be sure to sign up for their fall event, Bliss, the venue tour!

Again, be sure to take a peek at Hill City Bride’s next event, Bliss, the venue tour in November.

Beyond These Hills | Branding & Advertising

Branding small businesses has become a growing part of our business here at Stone Blue Productions.

Beyond These Hills is a local retailer located here in Lynchburg. We created ads published in Home Magazine as well as spanking new business cards. If you may have noticed, we also cleaned up the logo.

Having a business identity is something we cannot emphasis enough. Setting yourself apart from your competition, creating your niche, giving your clients an idea of what you do/who you are are just a few reasons to have one.

Is your business in need of a new look or an identity in general? Call us for a free consultation.
