I meet Naomi a few years back while doing some indoor rock climbing and found out she was learning to be a pilot then for airplanes and now has moved on to the helicopters.
I have had a chance to go flying with her while still under the education of her instructor at LU’s Aviation program. It was lots of fun.
Naomi is close to graduating from LU but wanted to capture this exciting time in her life so she gave me a ring to set up a photo shoot.
Always great working with people that enjoy life there just more fun to take photos of.
We had a fun afternoon just jumping around town and finally ended up at Lynchburg airport to capture some of the flying machines she is piloting now.

I worked with the Gomez family a few years back during their first child’s baptism but was on vacation during the new daughter’s ceremony.
However, I sent in Stone Blue’s one and only Damien Murtagh to make sure the event was documented even in my absence.
Damien did a great job covering this special day for the Gomez family. Sorry I had to miss it, but great photos helped me to enjoy the big day.
What a blessing children truly are.

We just wrapped up this video for a rockin’ Sweet 16 party.
Bobie Hamrick was joined by her friends and family to celebrate her very own Sweet 16.
We featured her photos in an earlier posting, but the gist of this party had a fun magazine theme including paparazzi and a red carpet.

I headed to Roanoke to work with Rebecca and Steven for their wedding.
They got married in a pretty Methodist church outside of town, and then we headed to the Vinton War Memorial for their reception.
I know what your thinking … war memorial and wedding reception don’t normally go together well. Well, for Rebecca and Steven it worked just perfect together. They are both great sites that are just minutes outside of Roanoke City.

I don’t think I have ever heard groomsmen laughing more than I did on the day of this wedding. They were just a great group to work with, and it was fun to join in on the celebration with them.
The wedding was in downtown Lynchburg followed by their reception at the Craddock Terry Hotel.
It was also great to team up with RS Exclusive, who had set up all the decor for both the wedding and reception.
Congratulations guys … it was a pleasure working with you both.
